Topic: AI Agent Building 101 

Summary: 

AI Agent Building 101 is a hands‑on technical workshop designed for project managers who want to understand, design, and build practical AI agents that streamline project delivery. Participants will learn the foundations of agent architecture, explore real business use cases, and follow a step‑by‑step live build using Claude and Visual Studio Code. By the end of the session, attendees will understand how to think like an AI builder and leave with the skills to create agents that automate reporting, planning, analysis, and other high‑impact workflows.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops to build and follow along.

Ticket includes light dinner and bottled water.

Simas Bandzevicius, CSPO®, CSM

Simas Bandzevicius is an AI Business Analyst at Dynasty Financial Partners, where he drives technology initiatives, process optimization, and AI‑powered solutions across the enterprise. He is a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) who partners with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver scalable, value‑focused outcomes.

Simas is the founder of ScalingThis, LearnWithSQL.com, and the AI Automation Hub, a community of 800+ professionals exploring AI and automation. He also serves as Vice President of Membership for the IIBA Tampa Bay Chapter. In this session, he will introduce the fundamentals of AI agents and how organizations can use them to enhance project delivery and productivity.
